The Art & Science of Leadership – B
For team leaders, supervisors and managers.
The Pita principal suggests that technical competence often attracts recognition and facilitates early promotion – but to a new type of position where more complex and subtle leadership skills are required (and are sometimes missing). How to motivate – to inspire – to gain the trust and confidence of the team – to balance commitment to work, commitment to teams – and maintain a healthy approach to work life balance….. these are all essential skills of the successful team leader, supervisor or manager.
This highly interactive workshop explores intra-personal and inter-personal skills and competencies of exceptional leadership. Workshop participants complete an on-line psychometric assessment prior to attendance. During the workshop, participants are challenged with a wide range of highly interactive, problem solving activities which invite reflection on natural leadership strengths – and of course, identifies areas for improvement. This course offers students an exceptionally engaging opportunity to seriously examine their own leadership practice, to explore models of exceptional leadership and to create personalized, actionable learning plans, attuned to each individual’s unique needs and learning preferences.
Successful completion of this seminar guarantees that every single participant will walk away with a much greater sense of confidence in knowing how to bring out the very best in themselves, and from those around them.
